to control and monitor power through a
dry-contact interface in rack, computer room,

you to control and monitor power through a simple
dry-contact interface, a communication format
favored by manufacturers of PBX's, telecom
management devices, and alarm management systems.
With the Relay I/O Card, you can control the
operation of a Smart-UPS, Matrix-UPS, or Symmetra
Power Array and recieve critical UPS
alarms, a function normally available only
through fileserver or modem communications. |
Features & Benefits
 |
 |
 |
| Remotely monitor
environment |
Critical
electronic devices are only as reliable as the
electricity which powers them. The Relay I/O Card
allows you to remotely monitor the UPS battery
and operation when the power goes out. You can be
certain your equipment will continue to operate
as expected without site visits. |
 |
| Save money with remote power
management |
Remote
installations typically require direct
intervention to shut down and power-on equipment.
The Relay I/O Card gives you the ability to
remotely startup or stop equipment via the dry
contact interface, which saves support
costs. |
 |
| Remotely reboot "locked
up" devices |
Remote
devices which frequently hang or become unstable
can cause expensive downtime. You can remotely
reboot hung or unstable devices via the dry
contact interface, saving you the expense of a
site visit and downtime. |
