Dry Contact Sensor Support
The Dry Contact Sensor support for the NetBotz 310, 400, 320, 420 and 500 enables use of devices such as water sensors, vibration sensors, motion sensors, glass break sensors, UPS and HVAC dry contact alert ports, and more. Dry contact sensor devices detect and report on a predefined state change. The condition is either "off" (no electrical contact) or "on" (electrical contact). On the Dry Contact sensor settings screen, the user can choose whether to alarm on "detected", "none", or not to alarm at all.
NetBotz provides a Dry Contact Cable for connecting dry contact devices to the NetBotz appliances. Dry Contact cables can be used with a NetBotz 500 or 420 via a Sensor Pod, or connected directly to a NetBotz 420, 320, 400 or 310.
