The flexibility to choose between multiple print methods including TN3270E, TN5250E and SNA, as well as SCS and IPDS data streams + support for digital copier finishing options, makes Axis the ideal solution for the enterprise network. The Axis ETRAX 32-bit RISC processor-based AXIS 670e print server perform the EBCDIC to ASCII conversion, freeing system resources for more critical tasks. Users get the same functionality as from a traditional IBM printer connected over coax or twinax, including full control over the output and exception status reporting.
