The AXIS 150/152 is optimized
for PC-based LANs of today’s smaller or departmentalized
networks. It supports the most popular network operating systems
simultaneously including NetWare, Windows NT, Windows for Workgroups,
Windows 95, LAN Server and LAN Manager. |

The AXIS 150/152 connects
one or two printers to your network, enabling the workgroup
to share printers. |
| Easy to use |
Without being a “computer
expert” you can install the AXIS 150/152 in minutes and
take advantage of workgroup printing. For NetWare users the
AXIS NetPilotTM installation program offers an easy
alternative to PCONSOLE. A Wizard guides the user through the
installation. |
Peer-to-Peer
Printing |
The AXIS 150/152 permits
print jobs to be sent directly from the PC to the printer without
the need for a file server. Printing using a file server is,
of course, still supported. |
| Fast Printing |
The 32-bit RISC processor,
ETRAX, specifically designed for LAN products, generates significantly
faster throughput than connecting your printer to a PC. |
| Easy to Upgrade |
AXIS 150/152 uses flash
memory and with the Upgrade Wizard in NetPilotTM
it’s as easy to upgrade the print server software over
the network as copying a file. It also allows upgrading of several
print servers simultaneously. |
