Access
your Computer from a Second Location
Ever wish you could work on
your computer from your office or from the lab down the
hall? With PC-Companion Plus, you can access your computer from
a second location as far as 600 feet away! Your second keyboard,
monitor and mouse will act exactly as if they were connected directly
to your computer. Now you can keep your computer close at hand
- even when it isn't! |
|
|
Fully Configurable to Meet your Requirements
PC-Companion Plus is designed
to work the way you do. One simple switch can be configured four
different ways to maximize your privacy options; prohibit unwanted
viewing or interruptions from your inactive workstation, or allow
full access from either location. Complete control over data access
is always in your hands.
|
Fits
Easily into your Existing Configuration
Compatible with your existing
equipment, PC-Companion Plus supports both monochrome and color
VGA monitors simultaneously and either PS/2 or serial mice. No
expensive networks, complicated software or multiple computers
are required. Just connect the cables, and place your second set
of peripherals wherever you need them the most. |
|

| A PC-Companion
Plus system consists of a transmitter at the computer and a receiver
at your remote location, linked by an extension cable. An input
cable connects the transmitter to your computer; a 9 VAC transformer
powers the receiver.
Either PS/2 style or serial mice are supported. Both mice must
be of the same type and correspond to the PC-Companion Plus
part number ordered. Instead of a serial mouse, certain other
serial devices may be used or stereophonic audio may be transmitted
via 3.5 mm stereo jacks. Monochrome or color VGA monitors may
be used at either location in any combination. Workstations
may be used simultaneously for viewing only.
