Compatible with most SUN workstations/servers with detachable monitors, video supports available for all SUN monitor modes and supports PS/2-style mouse or PS/2-style peripherals.

Transform your Cybex products and PC peripherals into SUN compatible units! The Mediator for SUN converts the data you enter with your PC compatible keyboard and PS/2 mouse into a format that's compatible with SUN workstations or servers.

In turn, SUN video can then be viewed on your multisync monitor. Now, you can control a mixture of PCs and SUN workstations/servers from a singe location using an AutoBoot Commander, or allow several users to share a workstation with the PC-Expander Plus. Whatever your application, you can now include your SUN.

Mediator is simple to add to your existing configuration. Just connect the Mediator to your SUN computer. Then plug your Cybex product, or other PC compatible peripherals, into the Mediator. No special software, computer setup, or cabling is required. Just use your detachable SUN type 5 keyboard and the 13W3 video cables to connect the Mediator to your SUN workstation. A built in power supply allows the Mediator to operate without draining power from the workstation. With the Mediator, going multiplatform is easy.
