Series allows you to configure larger, more complex installations in the
most efficient, economical way possible. By channeling signals from system
users to attached computers, the XP4000 enables the most streamlined configuration
possible, and can greatly reduce the number of chassis, cards and cables
in the system. In the configuration below, all 128 system users can have
simultaneous, independent access to any of the 1120 attached servers. This
is called a "non-blocking" configuration and is a key element
of XP4000 Series control.The XP4000 system allows IT managers to design
