It's based on ActiveX™ controls and can be centrally distributed. And it removes all the complexities associated with creating a host connection and invoking the application. The connection is managed using information that is contained on the Web page. This allows users to obtain host access through a familiar user interface, their Web browser, while eliminating the need to know how to establish host connections.
