NS/Portfolio 3.1 Enterprise
meets the Windows®
PC user's need to access IBM®
mainframe and AS/400 applications and data while providing administrators
with powerful tools for client manageability. NS/Portfolio Enterprise
is a complete set of 3270 and 5250 clients for Microsoft®
Windows 3.x, Windows 9x, and Windows NT 4.0 combined into a single
product designed for multi-generation Windows environments. NS/Portfolio
Enterprise makes it easy to migrate from Windows 3.x to Windows
9x or NT 4.0, since everything you need comes in one box. Microsoft
and IBM API compatibility provide third-party application support
and powerful migration aids.
NS/Portfolio Enterprise
provides a link-independent implementation supporting a wide range
of host connections for LAN and WAN environments. These connections
include TCP/IP, 802.2, IPX/SPX, Coax, Async, SDLC, AutoSync, and
many more.

NS/Portfolio
for Mainframe meets the Windows PC user's need to access IBM
mainframe applications and data. NS/Portfolio combines NetManage's
most popular 3270 client for Windows 3.x, Windows 9x, and Windows
NT 4.0, in a single-license package specifically designed for multi-generation
Windows environments. It includes: NS/ElitePlus®
for Mainframe, NS/Elite®
for Mainframe,
and NS/3270®.
NS/Portfolio
for AS/400 combines the most commonly used 16- and 32-bit midrange
client services into one manageable package. Additionally, with
OpenWizard and OpenWrite, users can easily download AS/400 data
directly into an Excel spreadsheet or into Microsoft Word. The following
traditional AS/400 clients are also included and more fully featured
than ever: NS/Router,
NS/Transfer, NS/Elite
5250 display and print emulation, NS/Folders, NS/Queues, NS/ODBC
R/O and R/W, NS/Utilities, and NS/Commander CL.
NS/Portfolio
Toolbox provides software development tools, tutorials, and
sample applications. These tools allow for rapid development of
custom, Windows-based applications accessing data from and enabling
Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) to existing IBM mainframe or AS/400
host applications.

Manager provides a powerful set of facilities to install, configure,
maintain, and troubleshoot remote NS/Portfolio clients from a central
desktop.
