Office offers excellent data analysis and word processing and presentation applications that allow users to enhance business communications. IBM^® AS/400 provides a powerful application and database server for many of these same customers. NS/Office Partner is the first connectivity product that allows simple, manageable access to AS/400 data, from users’ desktops. Using these tools, users can now integrate AS/400 data into Office spreadsheets, documents, databases and presentations. Now, AS/400 system administrators and desktop application managers can leverage user Office training to meet user requests for access to host data. At the same time, NS/Office Partner maintains AS/400 data integrity. NS/Office Partner supports Office 4.2, Office 95, and Office 97 users.

OpenWizard^TM
OpenWizard, an Excel add-in tool, brings host data directly into user spreadsheets from a toolbar button. No complex training is required. A powerful Wizard tool allows administrators to predefine queries to protect access to sensitive host databases. SQL syntax support enables record selection to provide exactly the data clients need.

OpenWrite^TM
OpenWrite, a Word add-in tool, brings host data directly into documents for mail merge capability with DB2/400. As with OpenWizard, an administrative Wizard predefines data for users to ensure host data security. Users can create form letters, merge them with AS/400 data, and then print to PC printers for fast, high quality communications.

NS/ODBC^TM
NS/ODBC, a high performance, read-only database access driver, provides administrators a safe ODBC driver for Microsoft Access clients. Read-only access ensures the AS/400 database integrity from unauthorized database updating.

NS/Router^®
NS/Router enables a high performance, standard transport for a multitude of NetManage and third party AS/400 client/server solutions. NS/Router meets Windows^® clients’ needs for APPC and TCP/IP AS/400 connectivity over a broad range of link types from Twinax to LAN/WAN.
