The OpSession SDK
The OpSession SDK enables efficient and powerful
application sharing. It allows two or more users to work together
on Windows 32-bit software applications over the Net. Users who
have an OpSession viewer or a Web browser with an OpSession plug-in
can collaborate with one another despite different physical locations
and hardware platforms. Only the initiator must have the Windows
32-bit application(s) and the OpSession Engine installed and running.
While other collaborative computing products
are available, only the OpSession technology delivers the following
benefits:
- Cross-Platform: Sharing and collaboration
are possible from: Windows 9X and Windows NT to a variety of Unix
platforms, and Java environments.
- True Cooperation: Workgroups can work on
the same application or view the same desktop simultaneously.
- Real time collaboration across all Windows
32-bit applications, not merely sharing of documents, screens
or designated whiteboard information.
- Privacy and Security: You decide which applications
you allow to share, and the participants do not see any other
applications that run on your desktop. Alternatively, sharing
of the whole desktop is possible.
- Many methods to invite people to a session.
- Support different connection initiators and
proxies to allow efficient collaboration with a large number of
users who may work over firewalls and modems.
