OnNet Host Suite provides users with reliable, high-performance TN3270, TN5250, and VT terminal emulation and File Transfer Protocol (FTP) client for accessing and sharing information on IBM mainframe, midrange, and UNIX systems.

OnNet Host Suite includes InterDrive Client (also available as a standalone product) to provide fast, reliable file storage and retrieval access to UNIX-based files and peripherals through NFS v3. Plus, there’s an FTP Server that can allow a user to share their files with any other user who has been given access rights. The FTP Server is integrated with Windows NT domain security and includes a Connection Monitor and Event Logging for enhanced access server control.

InterDrive Client allows Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows NT systems to quickly access and use resources on networked NFS servers. InterDrive Gateway is a fast, cost-effective way to seamlessly connect Windows desktops to UNIX servers. The software is centrally installed on a Window NT server that uses Network File System v3, a standard protocol for sharing files between multivendor operating systems. By enabling the server to act as a centralized gateway to NFS files and connected devices, InterDrive Gateway provides users with easy and secure access to these resources, without requiring the installation of additional software on either Windows clients or UNIX servers. Because InterDrive Gateway uses existing host and network equipment to expand the reach of Windows networking clients, it is an ideal solution for organizations that use both UNIX and NT servers or are migrating to a Microsoft networking environment

InterDrive Server allows any Windows NT system to be set up as an NFS server, so that other networked systems running NFS client software can easily access and share its files, directories, and devices. The Network File System (NFS) provides a standard protocol for sharing files and network resources between multivendor operating systems including UNIX, Windows, mainframe, VMS, and OS/2 platforms. Access is seamless. Applications, information, and devices (such as disks, printers, CD-ROM, and Zip drives appear as if they were located directly on the NFS client.

X OnNet is a 32-bit PC X server that enables Windows users to harness the computing power of UNIX. With X OnNet, users can view memory-intensive, graphics-rich applications on their desktops, while taking advantage of the processing power of the UNIX system where the application resides. From the user's perspective, an application appears to be running locally on the PC, when processing is actually taking place on the UNIX system. Web integration eliminates individual desktop configuration and enables browser-based access to X applications. Dynamic session synchronization allows a single X server to provide services for all connected users. X OnNet is recognized for its performance, reliability, and ease-of-use.
