IMAP4 support
Z-Mails support for IMAP4 enables
mailboxes to be stored on a remote server and shared between users.
Centralized storage of e-mail simplifies remote access and reduces
the risk of e-mail losses due to local hard disk failures. Users
retain administrative control over their remotely stored e-mail
and can even establish remote Trash and Sent Mail and hierarchical
folders.
Ability to Send Binary Attachments
via MIME
Z-Mail uses the MIME standard for attachments
so that users can attach text, graphic, sound, video and application
specific types of files and send it to other users with MIME compatible
mail products.
Rules-Based Filtering
Z-Mails rules and filters allow
you to sort and prioritize incoming messages. Messages can be automatically
filed, forwarded to other users, or deleted without being read.
Z-Mail will even send out automatic replies to senders of any incoming
messages while you are on vacation.
