500 Series Switching Hubs Copper to Fiber (10Mb+100Mb)

Description

The Magnum 500-Series Switching Hubs boost the performance of economical 10Mb shared networks and give you the distance you need with 100Mb Fiber connections. Each Magnum 528F model may be ordered with a Fiber port (ST or SC, multi-mode or single-mode) as well as a 100Mb RJ-45 port. Fiber ports may be set to full-duplex mode and support up to 2km (multi-mode) or 15km (single-mode) segments.

All Magnum 500-series products provide the switching speed and the reliability to smoothly support multiple workgroups, each with its own 10Mb or 100Mb traffic domain, for increased network performance using existing Category 3 cabling and shared 10Mb hubs.

On the Magnum 528 and 528-F models, the two 100Mb/s Fast Ethernet ports are available for 100Mb subnets, connecting to high-speed devices such as a server farm, a group of Fast Ethernet users, or other Fast Ethernet devices.

48VDC Models (including dual-source) are available for the 500-Series Switches.
