The 6K family of Managed Switches is ideal for both telecom and industrial Ethernet applications. The switches are designed to accommodate most applications from office and wiring closet, factory floor, to outdoors. The 6K family features fiber rich and modular Switches that can be configured with AC or DC power. Wide selection of port modules makes the 6K line of switches very flexible.

The 6K switches can be mounted on a rack or DIN-Rail and can serve applications that require small port count or high-port density in a 1U package.

The switches come with the MNS-6K software.

6K Family Unmanaged Ethernet Switches

The following switches are part of the 6K family:

Magnum 6KM Industrial Mobile Ethernet Managed Edge Switch Magnum 6KM is a heavy-duty Mobile Ethernet Switch with full-featured MNS-6K software. The base unit also has four 10/100 M12 copper ports. Up to four 100Mb LC-type fiber ports or up to four more 10/100 M12 copper ports may also be configured. Up to 2 Gb ports (either M12 or LC-type fiber) are optional.
Magnum 6KL Industrial Ethernet Managed Edge Switch Magnum™ 6KL Managed Edge Switches incorporate the latest in reliability and security for harsh environments, especially “edge” applications on the periphery of the network where industrial devices are connected. The high performance 6KL base unit comes with four 10/100 copper ports (either regular or PoE). Up to four (4) 100Mb fiber ports or up to four more 10/100 copper ports, or combinations, may also be configured. Two Gb ports may be configured as SFP fiber ports or as 10/100/1000 copper ports.
Magnum 6K32 Managed Switch The Magnum TM 6K32 Managed Switch offers up to 32-ports in a 1U rack-mount package, ideal for heavy duty Carrier Class and Industrial applications that require high-port density to save cost and rack space. The 6K32 provides 24 fixed 10/100 Mb copper ports plus a modular slot.
Magnum 6K32F Managed Switch The 6K32F and 6K32FR (reverse model) provide up to 32 100Mb fiber or 10/100 copper ports, or up to 8 Gigabit ports or combinations. Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) is available.
Magnum 6K32FC Managed Switch Convection-cooled switch (no fans) for dusty and dirty industrial environments; offers up to 16 fiber or 32 10/100 copper with four configurable slots; 6K32FRC reverse model is available; Gigabit and PoE available.
Magnum 6K32T Managed Switch The 6K32T and 6K32TR (reverse model) provide16 fixed copper ports, and two modular slots for configuration flexibility of up to 32 total ports. Gigabit & Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) are available.
Magnum 6K32TRC Managed Switch Reverse Convection-cooled switch (no fans) for dusty and dirty industrial environments; offers 16 fixed copper and two configurable slots for at total of up to 32 total ports; Gigabit and PoE available.
Magnum 6K25e Managed Switch The 6K25e and 6K25Re (reverse model) offer four configurable slots for maximum fiber and Gigabit configurability for a total of up to 8 ports Gb. PoE available.
Magnum 6K25 Managed Switch The 6K25 and 6K25R (reverse model) offer four configurable slots for maximum fiber configurability for a total of up to 25 ports. Gigabit and PoE available.
Magnum 6K16V Managed Switch Vertically-mounted, convection cooled switch (no fans) may be configured with fiber, copper, Gigabit, and PoE for a total of up to 16 ports; Optional variable-mount DIN-Rail kit.
Magnum 6K16 Managed Switch Provides 16 configurable ports with practically all fiber ports types; RJ-45; Gigabit and PoE available; Carrier Class packaging enables two units to fix side-by-side in a 19" or 23" inch rack; front-to-rear cooling.
Magnum 6K8 Managed Switch Industrial Ethernet field switch for heavy-duty applications; "big switch" managed software in small field switch package; Ports configurable with fiber, copper, Gigabit and PoE; metal case serves as heat sink.
Magnum 6KQ & 6KQE Managed Switches Heavy-duty configurable field switch for industrial networking applications; advanced thermal design; case has ribbed surface for environmental protection. "Big 6K software" in small package; PoE available.
