Ethernet Plantwide LAN products operate in factory IT centers, water treatment plants, and power substations, typically serving a mix of computer users and industrial control devices. These Magnum products are rack-mount, provide fiber built-in flexibility and usually support high-speed (100 Mb or even Gigabit) ports for larger LANs.

Ethernet Factory Floor products bring standard Ethernet to the factory and shop floor. Their small packages fit on control room walls or inside of a control box in production areas where they are typically co-located with factory automation, production control, PLCs, and process control equipment. Ethernet LAN products need to be Heavy Duty to stand up to electrical noise, dust and dirt, humidity, extended media distances, round-the-clock operations, and extended hot / cold temperatures.
Products include a wide selection of 10 and 100 Mb Switches, Hubs, and Media Converters. Fiber ports are integrated in most products, supporting factory distances as well as providing noise immunity.
These Magnum products are UL, CE, and FCC tested, have high MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure), come with AC power input (optional 24VDC or -48VDC), DIN-rail mounting, Conformal Coating (optional), and offer many unique features that can make factory LAN applications efficient and cost effective.
