Magnum 3000 Series Stackable Hubs; 3012 & 3024 Stackable Hubs

The Magnum 3000 Stackable Hubs provide 12 or 24 shielded RJ-45 Ethernet ports, plus a configurable bonus ports. SNMP management is available as an option. Users can stack up to 20 units in any combination, normally rack-mounted. The Magnum 3000 series offers many options not typically available in standard 10BASE-T managed stackable hubs. A rear bonus port may be configured with different media--bridge and repeater port options.

Garrett Communications has developed a 48 Volt DC option that is available for the Magnum 3012 and 3024. This is a solution already widely applied in the telecommunications industry and will allow a firm to maintain operations in the event of a power failure. A 48VDC dual-source option is also available. Magnum 3000 Stackable Hubs have also been tested and are NEBS Level 3 Certified.

DS880 Dual-Speed Stackable Hubs

The Magnum DS880 Stackable Hubs provide eight RJ-45 ports per hub--each port speed-sensing for 100 or 10Mb. Essentially providing two hubs in one, the DS880 enables small- to medium-sized networks to mix 100Mb ports for high-bandwidth applications with economical 10Mb ports. The DS880 stacks of up to 4 units for a maximum of 32 Ethernet ports--each 10/100 dual speed.

New network chip technology enables the Magnum DS880 Dual Speed Hubs to identify and accept either 100Mb or 10Mb signals on a per-port basis. Each port auto-senses and can change from 10Mb to 100Mb at any time without affecting other ports.

DS8016 Dual-Speed Stackable Hubs

Provides sixteen RJ-45 ports per hub, each port speed-sensing for 10Mb and 100Mb. Combines both 10Mb and 100Mb port speeds with stackability for expansion and flexibility in rack installations. Supports stacks of up to 3 units for a maximum of 48 Ethernet ports, each 10/100Mb dual-speed. Can be stacked with 8000X mixed-media hubs. Complies with 100BASE-T and 10BASE-T Ethernet standards; full 100Mb Class II+ repeater functionality. Comes with a durable metal enclosure, stacking cable, rack-mount brackets, rubber feet for table top mounting, internal auto-ranging power supply (-48VDC optional) and cooling fan

DS50 and DS60 Ethernet Hubs Plus

Internal Power Supply (AC, -48VDC, 24VDC). Provides five 10/100Mb hub ports, plus 10 or 100 switched port on DS60s for connection to another Ethernet domain. Fiber port on DS60F may be multi-mode SC, 20km single-mode, or 40km long-reach Plug-and-play operation, for easy installation when adding 100Mb ports to either a 10Mb or a 100Mb Ethernet network. 8000X Mixed Media Fiber Hubs

The Magnum 8000X Mixed-Media Fiber Dual-Speed Stackable Hubs provide the flexibility of configurable fiber and RJ-45 ports, of 100Mb or 10Mb Ethernet speed per-port, all in one hub along with the expandability of stacking. A mix of speeds and RJ-45 ports or fiber port types, up to 16 ports per hub, are accommodated in a 1U rack-mount package. Port modules may be factory configured or may be changed or added in the field.

Each fiber port can be installed as either 10Mb or 100Mb speed, with the fiber connector selected for ST, SC, SX, FC, MT-RJ, VF-45, multi-mode, single-mode, and other popular fiber port connector types. Each RJ-45 port is independently auto-sensing for 10/100 speed, adapting to match the speed of the connected device.

A bonus port may be configured with a Magnum switched port module (SPM). Additionally, a 48VDC model is available. This 48VDC model may be configured with dual sources and dual power supplies.

1000 Series Ethernet Workgroup Stackable Hubs

The Magnum 1000 Workgroup Hubs provide an inexpensive, flexible solution to workgroup networking, smoothly connecting into the central network. Bridge-isolation for high performance workgroups is optional on all models. The Magnum 1000 comes in models supporting 8, 16, or 24 front-mounted shielded RJ-45 ports. An additional mixed-media bonus port is available on the rear panel for an optional Port Module. One front panel port is configurable to "uplink" to another hub or concentrator to create stackable hubs.

DS80F Dual-Speed Fiber Ethernet Hubs

The Magnum DS80 and DS80F Dual-Speed Personal Hubs extend the very popular Personal Hub line with a new 10/100 Personal Hub with a built-in filter-and-forward Switch for connecting both 10Mb and 100Mb users. The DS80F also offers two switched 100Mb ports--one of which may be full-duplex fiber-ST or fiber-SC--multi-mode or single-mode. The DS80 family offers the performance of a 100Mb switched fiber link upstream with the convenience of dual-speed 10/100 copper ports for the workplace LAN, all in one compact unit about the size of a paperback book.

The built-in filter-and-forward switch for the hub ports enables communication between the 10Mb and the 100Mb domains. This switch has an auto-learning 8K address table and 1MB dynamically allocated packet buffer.
