The Magnum 15E Media Converters offer a cost-effective way to incorporate fiber optic media in Cat 5-based Fast Ethernet segments, either half- or full-duplex. Both multi-mode and single-mode models are available with either SC- or ST-type fiber connectors. All models come with a compact durable metal enclosure and have external power supply.

The media converters are capable of operating at temperature ranges outside of the normal commercial office. They have also been tested for use on-board planes and ships and trucks, and we have passed the applicable shock and vibration tests in those past cases.

The Magnum MC-TRAY provides rack-mounting for Magnum Media Converters (Both Ethernet and Fast Ethernet). The MC-TRAY holds up to 12 units per 2U rack space.

Magnum XTPS5-48VDC external 48VDC power supplies are optionally available for Magnum 15E Media Converters.
