Magnum 8000E Stackable Hubs provide 12 100BASE-TX ports for shared Fast Ethernet connectivity. The scalable design permits stacking of up to ten units or 120 nodes for the efficient support of bandwidth-hungry medium and large networks. The low-profile, small-footprint, Magnum 8000E utilizes an inter-repeater bus, permitting multiple hubs to operate as one logical unit. A separate SNMP agent box for optional management is available with each stack. A bonus port on each unit can be configured for different media and segmentation options including full-duplex fiber and 10Mb/s twisted pair.

Magnum 8000E hubs have been engineered to have significantly lower delay values than the industry standard (80BT rather than 95BT). This lower delay value allows for greater network configurability. When the Magnum 8012E is used with Magnum 40E or 800E hubs, one is able to cascade three hubs for greater network configurability.
