Local Audio Input and Output

Microsoft applications requiring audible alerts or sounds, or even desktop microphones, are supported on the NCD ThinSTAR 232. Audio sounds generated from Windows applications are transparently transferred over the network to the desktop without any application changes.

NCD ThinSTAR 232 includes a high-speed CPU and advanced graphics and I/O processors. With no moving parts, reliability equals a Mean-Time-Between-Failure (MTBF) rate at over 300,000 hours-the equivalent of only one system outage every forty years.
