NCD ThinSTAR family is made up of Windows-based Terminals (WBTs) that provide cost-effective access to Windows applications residing on multi-user network-based Windows NT application servers. The NCD ThinSTAR family provides the enterprise user with the easiest to install, administer and use desktop devices available.

Optional NCD ThinPATH software provides enhanced local functionality to support unique application requirements, remote management for centralized administration and emulation to extend the reach to virtually any legacy platform.

NCD offers two lines of non-Microsoft-based devices.

• The NCD Explora is the industry's leading X-Windows Terminal and is targeted at UNIX customers.



• The NCD NC (network computer) offers the low total cost of ownership associated with thin clients as well as the benefit of an industry leading local browser, the Netscape Navigator Web browser, and support for high performance streaming video.
