TeleConnect is a telephone-based user interface. Now your users can call their fax server from any touch tone phone to access their personal fax list. Like RightFAX Web Client, it’s one more great way for your remote users to stay on top of their faxes even when they’re not on the network. As usual, RightFAX is the first company to provide this type of telephone access in an enterprise fax solution.

RightFAX TeleConnect Features

• Fax List Retrieval by Phone—Remote users can check to see what faxes are waiting for them, either a full list or by type, and specify which ones they want to receive.
• Adjustable Fax Options—Users have control over how faxes are handled while they’re away.
  • They can forward faxes to an alternate fax number of another person
  • They can have another network user receive notification of their faxes.
  • They can enable auto-printing so a colleague can take care of their faxes.
• Fax Statistics—Gives a user a snapshot description of his or her fax mailbox. Users can sort by fax status (new, unopened, unprinted, sent and received) and number of pages.
• Hook Flash Transfer—Users can transfer to an operator or voicemail after checking faxes, providing a way to handle multiple tasks with one call.
• No Need for Extra Hardware—Because RightFAX TeleConnect uses the Universal Port capability of Brooktrout TRT114 fax boards, you can use an existing phone line on the fax server for this function.

TeleConnect Configuration

The RightFAX TeleConnect module can be easily configured as part of the RightFAX Board Configuration. You can customize the call type and select your routing extension.

TeleConnect Fax List

RightFAX TeleConnect lets you request that a list of your faxes be sent to you at a fax number. This list allows you to see your faxes, which ones are new and how many pages they contain. Using the retrieve ID, you can request to have individual faxes forwarded to a fax number or other network user.

Fax Server Requirements:

• RightFAX Enterprise v5.2 or
  RightFAX v5.2 Server

Fax Board Requirements:

• At least one Brooktrout® TR114- series fax board (voice option license for board is included with TeleConnect license.)
