SMC's EZ Card™ 10 32-bit PCI and 16-bit ISA network cards
are among the most affordable on the market today. And, they couldn't
be easier to use. The PCI cards are fully auto-config-urable upon
power-up through the host computer's BIOS setup program. The ISA
cards, when installed in PnP (Plug and Play) computers, are ready
to go as soon as you are.
These cards are NE2000-compatible and ship with drivers for most
popular network operating systems. The drivers are avail-able
on SMC's installation diskette or Web site. Also, the cards have
an on-board socket for an optional boot ROM.
You can choose from three different models of each card type
(six models total): 10BASE-T cards with RJ-45 connectors for twisted-pair
cabling; 2-port combo cards with BNC connectors for thin coax
cabling and RJ-45 connectors; and 3-port combo cards with BNC,
RJ-45 and AUI connectors.
As with all SMC products, the EZ Card 10 models are backed by
