SMC's EtherPower(tm) PCI network cards connect Pentium and 486 computers containing a Peripheral Component Interface (PCI) bus to an Ethernet twisted-pair, thin coax or thick coax network. Serving as a high-speed interface between the CPU and the network card, the PCI bus eliminates bottlenecks by bypassing the traditional I/O bus and providing a wider data path and a faster data transfer rate.

These 32-bit, high-performance bus-master network cards provide speeds up to 33 MHz and data throughput at rates as high as 132 MBps. They are the ideal solution for high-performance servers and workstations running bandwidth-intensive applications.

The EtherPower PCI network cards are auto-configurable for plug-and-play installation. Just power up the PC and the job is done. And, you can be sure that they will work with your network because they ship with the best driver selection in the industry, including Novell, Windows NT and Windows 95.

Choose from three models: a 10BASE-T card with an RJ-45 connector for unshielded twisted-pair cabling; a 2-port combo card with a BNC connector for thin coax cabling and an RJ-45 connector; and a 3-port combo card with BNC, RJ-45 and AUI connectors.
