Product Description
Now the cabling system which was developed for factory automation is
available for computer environment use. The system is very simple and
straightforward. It uses a steel channel called a DIN Rail and has slotted
holes for mounting. The Rail is normally mounted horizontally. DIN Rail
products are then placed on the Rail by snapping them into place, after
which wiring is completed. The DIN Rail is supplied in 3 foot sections.
It is referred to as a 15 x 35 mm DIN Rail and sold as the Model 8000.
Telebyte has a growing family of DIN Rail mounted products. In addition
we offer a method of mounting many of Telebyte's conventional products
on a DIN Rail. To do this Telebyte has developed a DIN Rail mounting adapter
kit called the Model 8001. It is used to allow any of Telebyte's smaller
products to be mounted on the DIN Rail. The Model 8001 clamps the Telebyte
product and provides a plastic foot which snaps onto the Rail. Whether
you are installing network devices in a computer room, factory, production
floor or any other area you can take advantage of the benefits offered
by DIN Rail mounting.
