Product Description
The Model 2431 is a synchronous short haul modem that uses advanced technology
and signaling techniques, enabling full duplex operation over one set
of twisted pair wires. The digital interface bit rate is switch selectable
from 2.4 to 128 KBPS. The Model 2431 also allows a control signal to
be
sent on the RTS pin and received on the CTS pin of the interface. The
user interface of the Model 2431 complies with the electrical requirements
of V.35.
The Model 2431 is hosted in the Model 2200 Card Cage,
which provides space for sixteen modems and dual redundant power supplies.
The built-in diagnostics include three loopback modes, which can be initiated
by switch, or the LOCAL and REMOTE modes through the digital interface.
