Product Description

The Model 8362 is a full featured short haul modem for RS-232/V.24 signals that is packaged in a DIN Rail format. The Model 8362 includes complete opto isolation for Transmit Data, TD, and Receive Data, RD. LED indicators are provided to display TD and RD activity. A data link formed from two Model 8362's will pass data from DC to 115.2 KBPS.

The Model 8362 operates in full duplex on four wires. In addition, a very flexible line termination scheme is provided via dip switches.

The Model 8362 includes its own internal isolated power supply. The user supplies either 110 Volts, 60 Hz, or 220 Volts, 50 Hz (as ordered.) All inputs and outputs are on standard screw terminals.
