A/B Fallback Switches
Network disasters are often imposible to predict; there is usually very
little advance notice when a communication line goes down. Our A/B Fallback
Switches provide an effective means for dealing with such unanticipated
events, by monitoring activity on primary hardware lines, and then automatically
re-routing data signals to a back-up line when undesirable changes in
line status are detected.

PLS-345
Network Ready Physical Layer Switch
The PLS-345 is designed for applications that require automatic
routing of Cat5 10/100Base-T signals between a common jack and an
"A" and "B" jack. The PLS is also ideal for switching RS-232, DSL,
RS-422/485 or telephone lines. This versatile A/B switching system
can be controlled over any TCP/IP network, or out-of-band using
an external modem and basic VT100 type terminal emulation.

AFS-16
Automatic UTP Fallback Switch for
Digital or Analog Data Lines
The AFS-16 is a versatile, physical-layer, A/B fallback switch,
which monitors activity on primary hardware lines. If line status
changes, the AFS quickly responds, and re-routes data signals to
a backup line. The AFS-16 is ideal for switching Ethernet 10Base-T,
RS232, RS422/485, or analog lines.
