Remote Console Port
Manager / AUX Port Switches
Perfect for UNIX System Administrators
managing RS-232 Ports
Our Remote Console / AUX Port switches provide in-band and/or out-of-band
access to RS-232 console ports and maintenance ports on file servers,
routers, and other network equipment. System administrators can access
remote devices in order to change configuration parameters, connect users
to restricted ports, collect buffered data, and perform a variety of other
control related functions.

CMS
Series
Telnet and Dial-Up Console/AUX Port
Switches
CMS Series Remote Console Port Management Switches provide secure,
in-band and/or out-of-band access to RS232 console ports and maintenance
ports on UNIX servers, routers, and other network equipment. System
Administrators can access remote devices in order to change configuration
parameters, connect users to restricted ports, collect buffered
data, and perform a variety of other administrative tasks. The CMS
is ideal for colocation applications; two different password security
levels protect access to restricted ports and configuration commands.
Users are allowed to connect to only the ports provided by their
passwords, while supervisors are allowed to connect to any port
or invoke configuration commands. The CMS is available in both 16-port and 8-port
Models.

APS-8M
High Speed Buffered Remote Console
Port Manager / AUX Port Switch with Internal Modem
The APS-8M high speed Asynchronous Port Switch provides a convenient
means for connecting multiple RS-232 devices for on-site and/or dial-up
remote communications. High data throughput, a built-in 33.6K V.34
internal modem, and full modem and data flow control all add up to
make the APS the perfect data switch for today's high speed communications
applications. Each APS-8M RS-232 port can be individually accessed
by port number or user-defined port name for easy port selection.
Ports are individually configured for data rate, parity and flow control,
and each individual port can also be password protected. APS-8M RS-232
ports can be configured to one of three different operating modes:
Modem Mode, Any-to-Any Mode or Buffer Mode. More

APS Series
High Speed Buffered Remote Console
Port Manager /
AUX Port Switches
Boxes are ideal for UNIX System Administrators
WTI's APS Series High Speed Asynchronous Port Switches provide a convenient
means for connecting multiple RS-232 devices for on-site and dial-up
remote communications. Rapid data throughput and full modem and data
flow control make the APS the ideal data switch for today's high speed
communications applications. Each port can be assigned its own baud
rate, parity, flow control, and other communication parameters. The
APS automatically converts these parameters when dissimilar ports
are communicating. User-defined passwords protect access to restricted
ports. The APS is available in 16-Port, 8-Port,
and 4-Port models.

CPM-400
& CPM-400R
Remote Site Console/AUX Control Port Manager;
4 Ports, Stand Alone & Rack Mount Units
The CPM-400 and CPM-400R provide a cost-effective way to control network
hardware without expensive SNMP in-band restrictions. CPM series console
port switches allow both on-site and remote dial-up communication
with any RS-232 command port. If your network is down, the CPM allows
out-of-band communications with control ports via POTS line and modem.
Each CPM port can be individually configured; baud rates, parity,
and other parameters are automatically converted to allow communication
between dissimilar devices. Two different models are available; the
CPM-400R rack mount unit and the standard CPM-400 stand-alone unit.

CPM-6400
Remote Site Console/AUX Control Port Manager;
Eight to 64 Ports
The CPM-6400 matrix switch and data PBX is designed for any application
where multiple ports need connection to a variety of other RS-232
devices. The CPM-6400 allows network managers to access multiple RS-232
control ports or console ports on network hardware at remote locations.
This provides a cost-effective means for out-of-band device management
in a WAN environment. The unit is also ideal for basic RS-232 port
contention applications. Each CPM port can be individually configured;
baud rate, parity, and other parameters are automatically converted
to allow communication between dissimilar ports.
