The RPB+DC is the perfect solution for applications requiring remote
reset capability of 48V DC equipment. The RPB+DC is an intelligent power
reset unit which provides password protection, user programmable plug
"labels" to help identify your equipment and user programmable
location ID. The RPB+DC can be controlled via modem or connected to a
terminal server for either in-band or out-band control.
The RPB+DC can be either code controlled, or controlled using your favorite
terminal emulation software (ProComm®, Dynacomm®, HyperTerminal®
etc.). Separate commands allow you to turn ON/OFF or reboot each of the
(5) individual DC circuits, or reset all plugs. On command, the RPB+DC
will turn off one or all of the 5 circuits for a user-selectable delay
period (5,10,15 or 30 seconds) then returns power to the plug. The RPB+DC
is ideal for rebooting your -48V DC powered routers, servers, telecom
equipment or any other 48V DC equipment.
