Router and communictions equpment sometimes "locks-up" and must be re-booted to come back on line. This requires a trip to flip the power switch off and then back on. When distance makes this costly or time consuming WTI's Remote Power Controller can be connectd to a modem, terminal server or other communications device to literally switch the power off and back on from anywhere.

The RPC-48 will support the power requirements of most high-amp 48V DC network equipment. Enterprise routers require as much as 35 amps of -48v DC power, the RPC-48 will suppport these high-amp requirments and have capacity to spare. If an additiional power circuit is required, a secondary circuit module can be added. Each module can be switched seperatly and will remain on, even if the RPS-48 unit is turned off.
