The EL-100DT (formerly known as Sundial) allows users to control large Sun-workstation networks using a single keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Utilizing the revolutionary OSCAR (on-screen configuration and activity reporting) pop-up menu, users can administer workstations quickly and easily. Assign system names that make sense to operators-right on the screen or locate up to 100 servers without having to decipher the manufacturer's predefined numbering scheme.

The EL-100DT switch maintains communications with attached workstations, providing vital keyboard and mouse emulation at all times. If power is interrupted, the unit's non-volatile memory helps restore the system's established settings, and avoids loss of critical keyboard and mouse communication links. The EL-100DT is designed to work with the OutLook PC based switch from Apex PC Solutions. For data centers that contain mostly PCs, The EL-100DT can be connected and controlled from an OutLook console.
