The EL-160DT is perfect for managing mixed Windows NT® and UNIX® server environments.

The EL-160DT is a single user, serial port terminal switch with integrated capability to convert text data (from Unix consoles) to SVGA video format.

This unique functionality allows a user to seamlessly integrate (i.e. directly connect) a 160DT to other Apex switches and monitor up to 16 serial devices from the same standard PS/2 keyboard and SVGA monitor that is being used to monitor NT or Novell servers.

Apex's intuitive On-Screen Configuration and Activity Reporting (OSCAR) allows you to configure the EL-160DT terminal switch and to check version, serial port status and console connection information, along with naming and password functions.
