SwitchBack provides system administrators with greater convenience and flexibility by allowing them to access their data center from either a primary or remote station. A long-line driver with advanced programmable features, SwitchBack can transmit high-resolution data twice the distance of similar products.

The SwitchBack system consists of a local and remote unit, and includes a lock-out feature that prevents system capture by others for selected time periods or through opposite-end video screen blanking. Intelligent circuitry allows the remote unit to operate up to 600 feet away, connected by a single CAT 5 UTP cable.

SwitchBack readily connects to Apex' switching and cabinet systems. Small offices can use the product as a standalone system.
