The Digital Desktop System
enables IT professionals to relocate a user's
computer up to 300 feet (100 meters) away while
still providing the user the same PC experience.
This enables secured centralization of PC
resources. The basic system consists of a host
card (PCI Add In Card), interconnecting link and a
Desktop Appliance. The Digital Desktops System is
composed of a desktop appliance, PCI add-in card,
and an administration interface utility, DWorks.
DWorks is an optional use software administration
utility to provide additional functionality and
further flexibility for remote management. |
Features and
Benefits
- Layer 2 Ethernet protocol - The
link between the Desktop Appliance and Host card uses
Layer 2 Ethernet protocol. This enables IT managers to

utility. Support of centralized Network configurations
enables administration features such as scanning the
network for Digital Desktop devices, device status,
device power control, centralized flash upgrade and the
ability to link user to PC .
-
Maintain End-User Flexibility - The
PC user can now have the full and extensive range of
PC peripheral control without having the PC at the
