Description:
The Avocent CCM serial console manager provides an easy and secure way to manage data center devices, including servers, network gear, telco and power units, through local or remote IP connections. With secure in-band and out-of-band connectivity it ensures quick access to critical devices whether the network is up or down. When used with DSView® 3, AVWorks®, or industry-standard SSH/Telnet client software, you can remotely control serial devices from a single interface. In conjunction with the DS Series and other Avocent solutions, the CCM appliances offer a full range of KVM and console management features, including tools for console redirection such as Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) and Serial over LAN (SoL).
