DSView 3 software enables secure, centralized management of all connected IT and network devices in today’s often complex and geographically dispersed data centers. When used in conjunction with any DS Series or Cyclades® branded products, DSView 3 software allows IT administrators to remotely access, monitor and control target devices on multiple platforms at numerous locations – anywhere, anytime.

DSView 3 software provides a unique “hub and spoke” architecture assuring you of little or no downtime. It provides redundancy with backup/failover capabilities.

It helps you to maintain accurate user permission rights and detailed data and event logs across multiple sites and appliances. All access to the appliances is logged for compliance, auditing and troubleshooting, including who accessed what and when. DSView 3 software also provides real-time email and pager event notification with SNMP traps to help IT administrators to address potential bottlenecks before they can affect server throughput and availability.

Security is also enhanced because DSView 3 software is the only interface you need to access and control your servers and network devices. Selectable encryption modes give you options to match your security policy, including a video encryption mode. Virtual media supports physical security by reducing traffic to the data center. Using a DSRxx3x switch, administrators can remotely load software by mapping a local removable media or mass storage device to a remote server.

With DSView 3 management software, you can customize the interface to manage servers and network devices based on location, operating system, department, application, or other custom categories.
