The LongView wireless extender simplifies
A/V installations by eliminating the need for cabling
and expensive PCs at each remote location. The
extenders provide quick, simple installation, with no
software to download or controls required.
The Avocent LongView wireless extender provide
connectivity between computer-based audio/video sources
and display devices including LCDs, monitors, plasma
displays and projection devices. Audio, video and PC
content are transmitted wirelessly from the source
computer to the output device utilizing a unique
proprietary compression engine. The transmitter and
receiver process analog video in a range of 150 feet
through walls and up to 300 feet line-of-sight.
Industry-Standard Design
Its industry-standard design makes the LongView
Wireless Extender compatible with virtually any PC,
display technology and operating system. Plug in the
transmitter and the receiver and radio transmission
begins instantly. The LongView wireless extender
firmware features a user-friendly On Screen Display
(OSD) for managing connectivity, making adjustments and
tuning the audio/video settings. The LongView wireless
extenders eliminate the risk associated with many
wireless products because of its three levels of
security which include: AES encryption, proprietary
802.11a link layer protocol, and proprietary video
compression.
LongView LV3500W Wireless Extender
The LongView Wireless LV3500W transmits data 150
feet through walls and up to 300 feet line-of-sight. It
includes a wireless transmitter ad receiver, power
supplies and audio cables. The LV3500W omni-directional
antennas enable the transmitter and receiver to find
each other regardless of their location.
