In addition to the Multiport Adapters, Avocent SST Retail Point-of-Sale Adapters offer easy and cost-effective solutions for point-of-sale, data collection, instrumentation and other customized applications.
The SST-4P/RJ and SST-8P/RJ Adapters have built-in RJ-11 port connectors right on the board. The Adapters support three control and data signals on a six-wire interface. No fan-out cables or port modules are required. Connect devices such as scanners, bar code readers, printers, cash drawers and more.
