The Avocent AutoView and LongView Wireless solution products are the world’s first plug-and-play systems that offer extension, switching and broadcasting capabilities for a wide variety of applications. Based on the 802.11a standard communications protocol, the transmitter and receiver send audio, video and digital data through the air up to a distance of 100 feet through walls and greater than 300 feet in line-of-site situations. Both products enable local and remote keyboard, video and mouse connections. No new software or operating systems are required.

LongView Wireless solution is a point-to-point solution that is ideal for applications where the PC or source computer is located away from the keyboard, video and mouse.

AutoView Wireless solution is a point-to-multi-point solution enabling broadcasting from a remote PC to multiple displays and switching between multiple computers and two displays.
