- Installation of PageR is quick and easy, typically less than a few minutes via CD or download.
- PageR can monitor across an unlimited number of server & OS types, across the department or an organization's worldwide network. Watch anything network-wide.
- Notify individuals, groups, hierarchies and more via dial out page, SNPP, email, Windows Messenger, broadcast pop-up, logfile and web page update, audible alert, fax, spoken English text, console updates and more.
- While PageR is running as a Service, users can make configuration changes in Maintenance Mode without having to stop PageR's network-wide monitoring.
- Monitoring of events can be scheduled down to any one (1) minute a month with dependencies established to control what alerts are sent, when and in what order. This alert filtering prioritizes alerts to reduce "alert flooding" during a crisis.

PageR processes information in a fast, resource efficient manner. It's presence is silent and unnoticed until it alerts staff that important events have occurred. IT managers have control to determine how frequently PageR checks each monitored object, who should be notified and when, the number of notifications to send, which contact methods to use for each contact and threshold level, priority of issues, and much more.
PageR is a read only product and therefore completely safe at all times and under all conditions. It does not modify any files except its own and takes no action on CPU usage, memory, processes or other critical system resources unless user's set up custom actions to do so.
PageR supports mixed platform networks to monitor Windows NT/2K/XP/2K3, Novell NetWare, UNIX, OpenVMS, HP3000, RS6000, AS/400, IBM, Linux and more. Information obtained from system, log or other sources can trigger alerts or automatic corrective actions. After PageR is set up during the first user session, it can easily be modified on the fly through its easy to understand window and menu interface. Configurations can be easily exported and imported to a new host or for backup. All of this is possible from a single installation of PageR software.
