Room Alert 2E is one of AVTECH Software's hardware solutions for "Computer Room Environment Monitoring, Alerting & Automatic Corrective Action". It is designed specifically to assist with computer room temperature and environment monitoring in multiple locations simultaneously while logging temperature, humidity and environment sensor status data for historical review and graphing. Notify individuals, groups, hierarchies and more via dial out page, SNPP, email, Windows Messenger, broadcast pop-up, logfile and web page update, audible alert, fax, spoken English text, console updates and more. Setup is done easily through the PageR software and real-time status information can be viewed from PageR's web browser interface.

Room Alert 2E monitors rooms ranging from very small, unmanned phone or wiring closets to extremely large, corporate data centers. Since Room Alert 2E is connected via Ethernet, it can be located virtually anywhere there is an Ethernet connection or that an Ethernet cable can be run. This means inside a rack cabinet, air vent, sub floor or other location. Room Alert 2E includes one (1) built-in 'digital' temperature sensor, one (1) built-in 'digital' humidity sensor, one (1) built-in power sensor, and one (1) built-in flood sensor with flood extender. Additional sensors can be attached to the three (3) remaining switch sensor contacts and are available to monitor power, smoke, room entry, panic buttons and more. Wherever environment monitoring is important, Room Alert 2E acts like a silent watchman to alert the right people at the right time and by the right method when environment changes occur.
