The TemPageR Home screen is the first screen to display when the web interface is opened. It contains a brief summary of the measurements read from the currently selected temperature sensor, including the high and low watermark.

If external temperature sensors are attached to the TemPageR hardware box, they can be selected and displayed by clicking the left and right arrows below the thermometer on the left side of the screen. When a new sensor is selected, the details for that sensor will be displayed in the middle of the screen. The sensor labels can be modified to more easily identify location or purpose.

Screens - Graph
The TemPageR Graph screen visually displays the temperatures measured for each connected sensor during the past 24 hour period, or since TemPageR was started. This provides a useful mechanism for quickly determining how much the temperature has changed and allows users to spot times of the day where temperature problems are most likely to occur.

Additional Graphing Options
Additional graphing options are available by exporting the temperature data to Microsoft Excel to take advantage of that application's advanced graphing capabilities. Exporing the temperature data is as easy as clicking on the 'Export Sensor Data To Excel' button. For further information on exporting data to Excel, please see the 'History' section of Help.

Screens - Alerts
The TemPageR Alerts screen allows users to set up alert notifications so contacts can be notified when the temperature for a specific sensor rises too high or falls too low beyond a defined temperature threshold. This provides a way to be sure that important assets that can be damaged by temperature extremes remain within their recommended tolerances. Proactive and preventative monitoring is better than any recovery plan or insurance policy.

With TemPageR, you can set unlimited alerts at unlimited temperature thresholds for each connected sensor. This allows multiple thresholds to be established for general notifications, early warnings, critical alerts, server shutdown and more.

Screens - History
The TemPageR History screen provides users with information regarding the current status of TemPageR. This includes information about configured Alerts, external sensors and generated logfiles.

Alerts
The 'Alerts' section provides a brief summary of how Alerts are currently being utilized in TemPageR. It lists how many Alerts are currently configured, and also displays a numeric count of the number of alert notifications that have been sent since TemPageR was installed.
Sensors
The 'Sensors' section displays how many external sensors are currently attached to the TemPageR hardware box and also what channel (i.e. sometimes referred to as a port or jack) they are connected to. Below that is a button labelled 'Export Sensor Data To Excel'. Click this button to display the following screen which allows you to choose what data should be exported.

Exporting the sensor data to Microsoft Excel is useful for keeping a long-term historical record of the temperature data collected by TemPageR. To conserve disk space, TemPageR averages temperature readings older than 30 days into a single daily value. Exporting the temperature data to Excel once a month will ensure that a complete and accurate record of the temperature data is maintained. Excel has advanced graphing capabilities that allow users to create graphs beyond the 24-hour graph displayed by TemPageR. Consult Excel documentation for insight as to how you can create customized charts and graphs.

Logfiles
TemPageR keeps a number of logfiles that track various data points throughout its operation. Click the 'View TemPageR Logfiles' link to display the following screen.
Logfiles can be selected from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the screen. Once selected, the screen will refresh and the contents of the logfile will be displayed in the text area. Consult the online Help or TemPageR User's Guide & Reference Manual for more insight.

Screens - Settings
The TemPageR Settings screen allows users to configure the available options for TemPageR. This is where users define issues like which COM Port is used, Celsius vs Fahrenheit, logfile location and more.

Screens - Users
The TemPageR Users screen allows set up of new users for access to the configuration screens of TemPageR. By default, one user account exists after installation with a username of 'Admin' and a password of 'Admin'. We recommend that the password for this default account be edited immediately to prevent unauthorized access by other users. Configured user accounts have full priveleges to make changes to TemPageR settings while normal users (i.e. without a configured user account) can view the current and historical temperature data but are prevented from making changes to the settings.

Screens - About
The TemPageR About screen contains the licensing and copyright information for TemPageR. It also lists contact information for AVTECH Software. TemPageR is a trademark of AVTECH Software with all rights reserved worldwide.
