Monitor temperature in your computer room and notify staff when temperatures get too high or too low with TemPageR v3.0.1.
- Up to five (5) TemPageR ID Boxes can now be monitored across your network from a single installation of TemPageR software.
- TemPageR can now be installed on Windows 98/ME systems, in addition to Windows NT/2000/XP/2003. We recommend installing TemPageR on a Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 system so it can run as a Service for extra security, although this is not required.
- Unlimited text can now be sent in the body of a TemPageR alert message. Note that most mobile devices are limited to 80-120 characters of text. Because TemPageR Alert Text messages can be customized, users can send and receive whatever message they desire.
- Substitution keywords can now be used in TemPageR Alert Text and will be replaced by their dynamic value when Alert Text is generated. Keywords available include [NAME], [EMAIL], [SENSOR], [MAX], [MIN], [TEMP], [RETRIES], [MAXEMAILS], [SUBJECT] and [DATE].
- As of version 2.0.0, TemPageR can optionally be run as a Windows Service for extra security.
- TemPageR software automatically discovers which COM Port the TemPageR hardware is connected to and will display an error message on the screen if the TemPageR hardware cannot be found.
- TemPageR now has an optional Ethernet adaptor allowing remote installation (i.e. instead of via serial connection to the host PC). If this is of interest to you, order one online or call 978.452.2299 and ask to speak with a Product Specialist.
- Themes are now supported and can be selected from the 'Web' section of the Settings screen. If the default 'Blue Sky' theme is not your preferred choice, you can now select brushed aluminum, high contrast or dark metal themes to customize your web browser interface.
- The TemPageR User's Guide & Reference Manual has been updated and is now available in print and electronic formats.
- TemPageR software, documentation and more is now published semi-annually on the AVTECH UPDATE CD. TemPageR v3.0.1 is available now by download through TemPageR.com and will be available on the next worldwide CD release.
