DESCRIPTION
The ENFORCER operates similar to the Basic Mini Firewall. The difference is that the LAN connection is not automatically restored when the modem call is completed. It requires a program to be run (normally a virus scan program) prior to the LAN link being restored.

It is normally used to prevent down loaded viruses from infecting the entire network, by requiring a virus scan program to be run prior to restoring the LAN connection. However, it may also be used to run other more specific analysis or audit type programs.

The Enforcer is supplied with a setup program that allows the system administrator to enter the name of the program that must be completed prior to restoration of the LAN link. The setup program is encrypted and password protected and very difficult for the user to change. An OEM version is also available that allows outside software to be linked to the CPS restore utility.

The Enforcer is available in two platforms; a Stand Alone Box, and a Secure Fire Wall Plate. The Secure Fire Wall Plate does not provide daisy chaining capability.
