Modem Card

The modem card is available as either single or dual v.92 modems.

Cables are supplied with the card.

Ethernet Card

The Ethernet card is available with either one or two 10/100MB Ethernet ports.

More Information

Usually only one Ethernet card is required for the Tracker. A single Ethernet port is required to connect the Tracker onto the network and to route network traffic onto a different subnet. The dual Ethernet card can be used to create a physically separate network that can only be accessed via the Tracker.

Serial Card

The serial card is available with either one or two RS-232 serial ports.

To conserve space on the card, we use an RJ45 connector instead of the usual DB9 connector. Each card is supplied with an RJ45 to DB9 converter.

Contact Closure Card

Contact closure expansion card 7 connections configured as either inputs or outputs. (Only 4 connections are available on the 2740 series.)

More Information

The contact closure card provides volt-free (or dry) contacts. This means that we can read a dry contact as a status bit. Usually this involves closing a contact (relay or contact output) that is nothing more that a stand-alone set of contacts with no voltage, current, or anything else impressed across the contact set.
