The 5 metre serial cable supplied with every Tracker 2610 allows you to mount it in a convenient location within a room. It is powered from a 5 volt line on its serial interface, allowing it to be driven by another device. We recommend using the Tracker 2610 in conjunction with the Tracker 2740 series or 2750 to create a platform that can monitor a number of different environmental conditions.

Logged temperature and humidity data can be output at a rate configured by the user and alarm set points can be configured to trigger an immediate report of excursions outside of normal conditions. Once the temperature or humidity has returned to the normal range, a further report is generated.

The Tracker 2610 may be controlled and configured via its serial interface using commands that include configurations for log rate, alarm setpoints and status request.
