The Tracker 2700 series of products from Data Track Technology provides an intelligent platform for performing secure and robust administration of remote network devices such as PBXs and routers.
The Tracker 2745 is a mid-range entry in the series and has modem, serial, contact closure and Ethernet ports to enable secure connections to the administrative interfaces of managed devices. All products in the Tracker 2700 series incorporate security features designed to complement and enhance existing network infrastructure security. In addition, a secure program development and runtime environment allows Tracker 2700 products to run custom applications that deliver value-added administrative services within voice and data networks. |

Programmable Platform
The Tracker 2740 is a programmable platform that utilizes the Python scripting language and an associated SDK. You are therefore not restricted to a fixed set of applications. If you have a specific set of requirements for an application you have the choice of developing the application yourself or allowing us or one of our development partners to do the work.
Remote Power Management
Network devices can be remotely power-cycled (in conjunction with an intelligent power controller), either
individually, collectively or sequentially.
Configuration Management
Equipment configuration files can be automatically backed up by the Tracker 2745; these can be remotely
accessed and restored by an authorized administrator if required.
Data Storage
Data such as CDR’s from a PBX or logs from a router or sensor can be stored for later remote collection.
Auditing
The Tracker 2745 records session activity to provide an audit trail of access and operation.
Alarm Management
The Tracker 2745 can be used to detect, filter, and report alarm data (SNMP and non-SNMP).
Alarms can be forwarded to one or more management centers.
Health Check
The Tracker 2745 is able to check the basic status of devices on TCP/IP networks. After a set number
of failures, an alert can be generated and delivered over IP or dial up connections using SNMP or
ASCII format.
Environmental
In conjunction with an an external probe (such as a Tracker 2610 or other approved device), environmental conditions such as
temperature and humidity can be monitored that trigger alerts when defined thresholds are crossed.
External devices such as an uninterruptible power supplies and physical security systems can be monitored via contact closures.
Fraud Detection
The Tracker 2745 checks SMDR data in real time against user defined criteria looking for possible fraudulent traffic. An alarm is sent
when a pre-determined toll fraud signature is detected; the alarm includes the last call record that triggered the alert.
