The Powerware 9125 PowerPass
is designed to enhance the
reliability and flexibility of the
Powerware 9125. The PowerPass
enables you to upgrade or
replace the UPS while continuously
providing power to
your protected equipment. The
PowerPass also provides surge
protection for the critical loads
if your UPS is not present and
provides surge protection for
your laser printer without taxing
the UPS.
The PowerPass also works in
conjunction with Eaton's power
management software to allow
orderly shutdown and startup of
individual load segments. This
enables you to keep key pieces of
equipment running, and power
down non-critical equipment to
save UPS battery power.
The PowerPass features six
receptacles plus a laser receptacle
on 1500 VA and below models
and connects directly to the back
of the UPS. It works with both the
tower and rack mount configurations
of the Powerware 9125.
