Eaton's Power Xpert 4000/6000/8000 meters represent a new genre of power quality instruments and world-class power monitoring that reduces day to day operating costs and helps avoid costly business interruptions. The meters combine state-of-the-art technology with next generation power diagnostics, data trending and performance benchmarking, along with a "Twist-n-Click" LCD: a new paradigm for simplicity and ease of use in the market place.

In addition the meters have an embedded Web server that enables users to surf to the meter over the
Internet via a standard Web browser. The new platform offers advanced functionality like high speed
impulsive transient waveform capture, 6 Mhz sampling rate (six samples every millionth of a second)
with one millisecond time stamping, anti-aliasing, ITIC analysis and automatic trigger settings, open field
upgradeable firmware, up to 8 GB memory and optional digital, relay I/O card.
